Water is Life project
Each well and borehole is a salvation from death and a cure for disease for thousands of people in arid regions
The objective of the project is to provide equitable access to clean drinking water and water resources for rural communities in Kenya, including the creation of infrastructure, development of irrigation systems, and prevention of pollution of water bodies.
Problems & Solutions

- Uneven distribution of access to water for crop irrigation in different regions of Kenya
- Lack of infrastructure for water collection and distribution in remote and rural areas of Kenya
- Lack of and underdeveloped irrigation systems
- Pollution of surface water sources

- The construction of wells in arid and remote areas of Kenya will:
- Ensure continued access to clean water in remote areas where people have to travel dozens of kilometers to the nearest water source
- Prevent disease and hunger for thousands of people
- Reduce child mortality
- Drilling boreholes to irrigate crops in remote and arid regions of Kenya
- Implementing water-efficient drainage and drip irrigation systems to optimize water use
- Application of training programs on efficient water use and irrigation techniques
